Fleetworks - Update History
Last updated: 26th June 2023• PCN advice notesThe main change to the current process, is that the ‘user advice’ relating to a Details Checks, Fine Not Assignable, Webcode/Address Needed etc will no longer be handled via email only. A single error report will be sent to the user that created the PCN and the PCN will then be pinned to the top of the ‘Penalty Charges’ list. The PCN will remain pinned until an edit occurs. For more details see our Knowledge Base
here.

• Editable PCNs
Saved PCN's will now be editable. Users will no longer be required to delete and re-add incorrect tickets, saving time.

• User login tracking
We are adding user login tracking. This will identify the IP address of a user accessing Fleetworks which will allow IP blocking to prevent unauthorised access. If you use an overseas handling service, then you will need to notify Admin about the IP addresses they use.
• DVLA lookup on vehicles
We will shortly support your fleet being registered with ticket issuers enabling you to receive tickets directly. Some issuers will verify your fleet using DVLA data, so Fleetworks is now connected to the DVLA fleet database. When you add vehicles, Fleetworks will pull details such as make and colour from the DVLA in readiness for connecting to the ticket issuers.
• Are you the Registered Keeper?
If you sign up for direct ticketing, you will be required to confirm that you are the vehicles registered keeper. Incorrectly declaring yourself as the registered keeper could result in your company being withdrawn from the service.
• Issuer – no agreement required option
A number of issuers using the direct ticketing service and a few Police Forces, no longer require an agreement uploading. Over the coming weeks, we will be removing the requirement to upload an agreement for these issuers, even if you are not on the direct ticketing service. This change will improve user handling time.
